The Royal Concept (Sounds Like)

The Royal Concept released their debut EP in the middle of June this year. Swedish based band. Just heard it for the first time today and they are pretty good....but their single, Gimme Twice sounds way too much like Phoenix's track Countdown (Sick For The Big Sun). The lead singer, (who I totally thought was a chick until a few seconds ago), emulates Thom Mars's voice down to the weird french up-swishies at the end of his phrases. The melody and the rhythm are...dead on. If they were going for the cover band sound, they got it.
