SPEEDY ORTIZ. Character from Love and Rockets (guy who wrote Ghost World wrote this). Also badASS band. I've been dwelling in the 90's indie pop scene lately (built to spill, modest mouse, death cab, breeders) and ohhh was I excited when I found these guys. Lyrical. Melodic. Punchy. Morbid. Emotional. SERIOUS GUITARIST. AND DRUMMER. AND BASS PLAYER. AND SINGER. Really great line up. Well produced. Yeah. Check em. Major Arcana is out.
